Ctj spells out an arrow in their show, coincidence with broken arrow!?!? I think not?! Broken arrow needs to respond with a Johnson

This is really impressively performed but does feel 'safe' design wise a bit. It recalls the smooth and majestic feeling of Carmel's show that had the balancing rocks props (forgetting the year on that one). I think that show won for Carmel though, so I have no doubt BA is definitely the band to catch here. We'll see how Carmel and Avon do behind them!

You cannot tell me that that was not flawless. It was not flawless, but it was still very good! It just wasn't as engaging as The Woodlands right before them.

That was a pretty flawless run from Broken Arrow. It's not the most interesting show design out there (to be honest I don't fully understand the show either) but man do they perform it incredibly well. I was trying to look for flaws the entire show that might give the other bands a chance to catch up but to be honest I don't think anyone will. A superb performance from BA!

Flawless performance Broken Arrow! They’re definitely Texas Loud, no doubt about that. Woodwinds go crazy! It’s gonna be hard to top that but we’re not done yet.

I see everyone else is saying that run was flawless, but I actually thought it was pretty rough musically from BA. I can still see them taking the Visual and GE captions, so who knows what will happen

Game over. Congratulations to the 2021 BOA champions, Broken Arrow To be clear, this is my first time watching all the shows this year, but that is among the best BOA performances I have ever seen. If these last few bands match what BA just did, I can’t help but think the winner will score a 99+

I seem to remember Marcus doing a show with members in red and yellow uniforms like this in the past?

Oh starting with a bassoonist. Intriguing. Also those shako wraps with the feathers make them look tall.
LUSH sound on that hit.

Then I know why it appeals to me so much- that Bell show is my favorite show of all time One of my favorites too I have an ex boyfriend/now good friend who got to see it live because his brother was in Pride that year. Meanwhile I wouldn’t march until 10 years later. A lot of my favorite shows are from far before I knew what marching band was! Video recording is a miracle.

I haven’t been on here bc I wanted to soak it all in and not get distracted by phone, but after hearing how absolutely incredible that Marcus woodwind quintet was, I’d be doing a crime if I didn’t shower it in compliments. They sound like literal professionals; I’m in utter awe of how amazing they were. I’m REALLY hoping they win music again, they wholeheartedly deserve it.
Also, GO MELLO SOLOISTS!!!
